I've used a lot of different sites to upload my photographs for free.  I've found quite a bit that I really like, and I've learned about what I really hate about most of those sites.

Before I recommend anything, I think it mostly depends on what you use the internet for.  I think most people need to upload images for social networking websites such as Facebook, Myspace, or Twitter.  Occasionally there are developers who like to upload their images to a different web server because they think it helps them increase their performance.  Some people may want to use an image upload site for advertising purposes.  I've noticed people doing this pretty often whenever they're trying to advertise for their website or trying to get people to take attention to their photographs.  Then there are those who consider themselves to be photographers, and they like to make attractive photo galleries for other people to enjoy. 

I have been using IMGSRC to upload my photographs for free online.  This website has just about been perfect.  It's a brand new website that is constantly being improved, but it performs 100x better then anything else being used on the internet.  The only other website that I think that comes close to where IMGSRC is right now is probably Imagebay.  I've noticed that the larger sites are the worst for performance.  I can upload 50 images in the time that it takes me to upload 1 image on Imageshack.  That's what I like about these 2 sites (IMGSRC, Imagebay, etc.).

I recommend visiting IMGSRC sometime very soon.  It's a brand new website, but it's nice to be a part of something when it first comes out.  I was a big part of Google when it first came out, and I've been that way ever since.  Most of us "Internet Gurus" really like websites that are simple and easy to use.  I wish Google made an image upload site so that I could upload my photographs for free with them.

I love using IMGSRC because of how fast it is.  I've been very happy with it so far.

I wish this technology was available many years ago because I would have been using this quite a bit if I was still in my highschool yearbook class.  It makes online image hosting and editing a breeze.  In fact, I'm willing to bet that yearbook authors are now creating websites just as well.
